One God, Three Personsஒரே தேவன், மூன்று நபர்கள்
The word “Trinity” is not in the Bible, but the idea is. Scripture says there is only one God. It also calls the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit God. They are not three gods, and not one person wearing three masks. They are one God in three persons.

Christians have used this simple drawing for over 800 years. Follow each line: the Father is God, but the Father is not the Son.

The Fatherபிதா
The Bible calls the Father God many times. He sends the Son, and he is the one Jesus prays to.

Jesus existed before creation. He was with God, he was God, and he became human. Thomas called him “my Lord and my God”.

Peter says lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. The Spirit teaches, speaks, and can be grieved, so he is a person, not a force.

At Jesus’ baptism, all three persons appear at once. They are not taking turns.

Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Notice it says name, not “names”. Three persons, one God, sharing one name.
கவனியுங்கள்: “நாமங்கள்” என்று இல்லை, “நாமம்” என்று இருக்கிறது. மூன்று நபர்கள், ஒரே தேவன், ஒரே நாமம்.

Three gods. The Bible is clear that there is only one God.
மூன்று தேவர்கள். தேவன் ஒருவரே என்று வேதம் தெளிவாகச் சொல்கிறது.
One person changing roles. Like a man who is a father, a son and a husband. At the baptism all three were present together.
வேடம் மாற்றும் ஒரே நபர். ஒருவன் தகப்பனாகவும், மகனாகவும், கணவனாகவும் இருப்பது போல அல்ல. ஞானஸ்நானத்தில் மூவரும் ஒன்றாக இருந்தார்கள்.
Three parts of God. Each person is fully God, not one third of God.
தேவனின் மூன்று பாகங்கள். ஒவ்வொருவரும் முழுமையாக தேவன்; மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கு அல்ல.
One God in three persons. Each is fully God, each is distinct, and there is only one God.
மூன்று நபர்களில் ஒரே தேவன். ஒவ்வொருவரும் முழுமையாக தேவன், ஒவ்வொருவரும் தனித்தனி நபர், ஆனாலும் தேவன் ஒருவரே.
No earthly example fully explains it. We believe it because God revealed it, even when our minds cannot hold all of it.
